Sorry, I couldn't help myself. This is my daughters Easter hedgehog. One thing about him that I wanted to point out was his ears. I used regular manmade craft felt. A larger white bunny ear and a smaller pink center, then lightly needle felted the pink onto the white. These manmade fiber materials needle felt just fine and it made the pink center fuzzy instead of flat.

I'm getting there but there was no way I was gonna get these metal eyes to work though. I tried everything. I have a mutalated pile of metal brads to show for it.

So I kept moving, what's another way to make pronounced eyes? Well my favorite way of course, needle felt them!

I believe I have all the pieces ready at this point. The straps need a little sewing. I need to sew these pieces on when they dry. Not long now.

I made the pattern and already had to change it. I forgot to look at all the pictures for guidance. That's ok, we're all fixed up now!

I'm trying out this super sonic glue that glues anything to fabric. It's supposed to be washable afterwards.

Laying the pieces out, everything looks to be in the right proportion.

These are the outside pieces and inside I'm putting in a pink liner. That's what I'm figuring out now. Please don't ask me about zippers yet!
