Hedgehog Family

My granddaughter has started needle-felting. It's so amazing to pull out my old, stored away materials for her new projects. She is six, and yes she does stab herself from time to time.

Small Dolls Need Clothes Too!

In honor of my grandmom and for my sister's grand kids I have been making small doll clothes. These are 6 1/2 inch American Girl dolls. I was happy to also find a pattern book when I purchased them!
The needle felted slippers were something that I had to figure out but as you can see below I started with a pattern shape which felted together as the slipper!

Three lovely dolls for three lovely girls.

Each doll has a night gown, slippers, shirt and pants and a kitten companion!

Mushroom Squares

 Now you see him...
 now you don't!
How cool is it when you can match your felted mushrooms...
 to your new painting hobby!

Live Animal Trap

My needle felted weasel had been sitting in the closet for too long.
I had been trying to come up with a way to display him.
William's glad it's not him.

We Call Them Swirlies

When we talk to the kitties around here we call the squirrels, swirlies.
Since William has decided to join me today that's what we'll go with!
 I never craft alone.

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

Mr. Snowman is the only wintertime craft that didn't become a gift. That means I can show him to you. He plays The First Noel and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. I can also change his neckwear every year... if I feel like.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Color Change

This is an old project that I wanted to change.
My "dear" friend Elaine from elainesgems told me I needed to start dyeing my hair. She said she was willing to come over and do it for me... so sweet. Instead I decided to change the color of my tree canopy.
This has made me happy.
