I'm still pecking/poking away at needle felted snowmen. I think I like this guy the best so far.

Recent Projects

More of a Wrap

Normally when I make needle felt creations I poke the heck out of them. It makes for a hard dense piece. Some people needle felt very loosely by simply wrapping the wool and only poking it in a little. So I experimented with this style today... I still poke way more than the folks I mentioned but what you see is a much looser guy than what I usually do.

I've switched over to snowmen which this lovely white wool lends its self to!

I understand what sculptors mean about a figure already being in a rock. When I looked this guy in his blank face he told me just what he was doing. He's a caroling snowman!

My yard gets a good trim every time I need arms for snowmen.
