Inspired by Roses
I have a love hate relationship with roses.
On one hand I'd tell you that they were savage beasts that clawed you up in the garden.
On the other hand they smell and are lovely.
And though I will scowl at anyone who calls my daughter Rose (her name is Rosalie) roses are a part of her name and her life.
But the real truth of all this was I saw a wire wrap artists tutorial making them and had to try! Here's her site:

Little Nests
This is wire wrapping over needle felt, literally.
I had the idea to make earring nests and it just couldn't wait.
They're supposed to match a necklace.
Filled with blue freshwater pearls.
I was quite pleased with them.
