I Hear Them Popping

It's pickle time! Since I grow my own from a small garden I've learned to make small batches.
Today I had my first technical difficulty...
But three jars for now will do just fine.

Salsa

The garden's done pretty well this year.

I was inspired by the lack of power to can instead of freeze.

This is a hot water bath recipe.

They look beautiful but they taste very vinegary! I should look into getting a pressure cooker.
