Bird in the Hand Has a Home

 Wren's home is finished. I had to delay showing you because she was a special gift.

Thanks to my husband who carefully cut the branch for me without hurting the bark.

The stump part was drilled and I wood glued the Y branch in. Love the wood glue!

This will certainly be one of my favorite projects.

Thank goodness I have a book on nests and eggs...

I would have made wren a completely wrong nest...

and gotten the color of her eggs wrong too! I need to find a base for her twig now.

Even though I enjoy jewelry and making jewelry I really don't wear it that much but my daughter does.

Every once in a while, when she gets the chance, she checks out the craft room. Normally it involves her swiping something she likes. Well this time I made her a couple pieces, just for her. She really wanted a Tree of Life and she had just recently spotted the bird nest pendants on Etsy. I need to go out and get more copper chain.
