Finished Creation

I finished what I was working on over the weekend and so did my husband.

And now the pigeons are finishing his grass seed.

I'm loving these magnetic clasps.

Skittles, please get out of the way, I need to show people something.

I told you that my sister just got back from a trip to England to visit my mom. Well, she bought herself a neat pillow while she was there. No, this isn't the pillow, this is a copy of the pillow that she made for me. How cool is that! She works full time, does yard work on the weekends and makes time to make her sister something that she would like.

Soft Weekend

There are lots of yarns out there that look soft, but aren't. There are also yarns that are very soft but are unaffordable. I happened to find the best of both worlds. This yarn here is a Jo-Ann's store brand. It wasn't dirt cheap but certainly affordable. It was heaven to work with and with it's bulky size it was quick knitting.

Don't worry, we had plenty of walks outside this weekend but I had something nice to do in the evenings!
