Too Much Fun

I know I'm late to the parade here but these are fun to do. As you can see I'm ready to start my next color. This second set I've used fresh water pearls in the center.

My sister and I are planning to do a variation of these for her Sunflower Festival next year. 
 
I'm liking the wire because it feels sturdy. I see these flowers with felt on the back but I don't think these need it.

Always Inspiring

As usual Pearl over at The Beading Gem's Journal has inspired me to try something new. I've been noticing these singed fabric flowers and she happened to have a terrific tutorial on them today.

You want to use man made material that melts. I used wire to sew on my beads and pin. That may have been the hard way but it got it done.
