Pink Bear's Ears Continued

My daughter told me to put the felt inside his ears. My friend told me to put bunny ears with velvet inside. Unfortunately my friends advice came after I had chosen the fuzzy ears and Ro's not gonna notice. I was really visualizing a bear anyway. I pinned on all the ear options and the fuzzy D shaped ears won.

I went all through my buttons. I believe I had the right size but the solid dark button wasn't doing it. I'm imagining a solid white button around 5/8" to 3/4" that I can paint. That means waiting until next week and heading for the fabric store. Maybe I'll see that helpful sales woman again!

In the mean time I'll work on his nose, this one is temporary and watch the snow.

I'm sorry I can't call him mauve bear and my husbands suggestion was dusty rose bear. I don't think so. He's the perfect baby doll size, very cradlable. I like this guy!

As you can see it's time to stop and experiment with ears. These are the ears he'll have for the rest of his life so I have to get it right. I have 2 types here and I need to figure out whether to use felt in the front or fur?

Now you know how I'll be spending my day!
