My last claw.
Here's another recommendation, this piece of foam was an insert in a pair of boots that kept them in shape. It's harder and won't let the fibers felt into it like in soft foam. I doesn't seem to be causing my needle any problems at all.
Four claws in the front all finished! My son just asked me how I was going to do his bushy tail. I don't know yet I haven't gotten that far.
