Seriously Sandi Sews

If you knew Sandi you wouldn't think this were possible. She does many things well but sitting still for a couple hours isn't one of them! Sandi wanted to learn how to sew, at first I thought she wanted to make cool and funky new things from old things but she said she really just wanted to be able to fix something so it didn't have to go in the trash. I believe there is hope for our young people!

With this project she learned to thread a needle, make a knot at the end of the thread, sew a running stitch and knot the end of her sewing. I told her she knew everything she needed to know now. When I see her again we'll finish the kitty.
