Macrame on a good day is relaxing and fun, but not when you're working with silk thread. It's hard to tell which side to start on and threading the beads is challenging. Who out there has a beading needle that goes through pearls and doesn't break?
I guess that's why I like wire so much, no needles involved!
I'm using 28 gauge wire folded in half to take the thread through the knot hiding closure and beads. This does work but makes a mess of the thread at the end. It will get cut off anyway.
That looks like fun but sounds awful. Can we do it much larger with much larger beads? You know me, I'm no miniaturist, but I dig the general idea.
