By Candle Light

As the snow was coming down as white out conditions we heard the explosion of the electrical transformer outside, darkness. We were always used to it coming back on right away so we weren't prepared when we heard that that wasn't gonna be the case. Thank goodness someone without electricity in the area worked for the electric company. It was a day and a half and I believe we learned a few things. One of them is, don't let your daughter buy her dad tropical water turtles for his birthday!!!

Spotty & Crusher

The daughter who bought the turtles, studying by candle light.

Still without electricity but very beautiful!

We're back to near normal now and I got a lot of knitting done in the candle light. The son wants an ear flap hat.
